Maybe it's the fact that he is a bit of a moderate or that he sees Christie fetching Trump's McDonalds orders, but Hogan, a Republican governor in a strong blue state and someone who was pretty quiet during the primary, stated that he has no plans on voting for Trump. He said he might write someone in.

Something tells me that this election will have the largest amount of write-in votes, ever.

I read an article the other day that this could be the first time legitimate third party candidates actually get some of the vote in a presidential election. It was an opinion piece, but the author was a little hopeful that it might spur future third party voting.

Because Hogan actually sticks by what he says. What's his approval rating now? Like 70%? In a heavily democratic state that's very impressive.

I have been seeing quite a few things like this .... It's a shame the libertarian party put up Gary Johnson.
The socialists should get Bernie to run.

I'm well beyond considering it.

I have to wonder if having 2 awful candidates has led to interest in the 3rd party OR if a lack of interest in the 3rd party for so long has led to having 2 awful candidates. I suppose it could be both.

Sorry, wrong phrasing on my part. As of right now, I'm inclined to vote for Gary Johnson. I'm not 100% certain that I will do this come election day, but as of right now, he will get my vote.

Personally speaking, I've always wanted more than two parties to choose from. Even when the candidates weren't of this low caliber, I preferred more issue specific views rather than an all encompassing "party platform" to which many candidates conform.

As of today, I'm voting for Gary Johnson too.....that might change come election day, but if it was held today, yes, Gary Johnson has my vote.

I don't normally talk about my vote, but I voted for him in 2012. I wish there were more Libertarian candidates.
