There are still plenty of good players to be had at 52.  The issue is more one of whether they got enough for trading back.  Is there really room on the roster for 9 day 3 picks?  I mean, what's the point?

I’m feeling DK Metcalf. It feels like indigestion
Metcalf just has Kevin White vibes to him I feel. And we already have an under performing high pick wr on the roster already.

Adderley would be a good get. One comp I saw for Nasir: Bates.
Through 2023

Mike Brown’s Owner/GM record: 32 years  223-303-4  .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record:  5-9, .357 winning pct.

First round talent that the Jets want to let go for the right price....

We have a new LB coach, why not add a first round talent for him to work with?

Might not be room for 9 of them, but there's most likely room for the best of them

Hell no to Metcalf.  Numbers only guy.  Would be a special teams demon though.

you don;t know what Denver was going to do.. besides if they wanted drop back to 52.. Denver might have been the only call.. obviously their chart they liked better than yours.  42 was overvalued at LB.. none taken since.. TE also none taken since.. these are two areas they could draft at 52 still

Going for more draft picks is decent in that scenario to increase odds of a HR. Teams like the Cowboys when they were good and the Patriots play the odds like that.

First game starters at tackle (barring injury) will be Glenn and Hart.

Don't see the Bengals throwing money at Hart and then benching him. Hart has the 12th highest cap hit among all RTs in 2019.  He is starting.

Just like Will Jack wasn't a starter year 1. They threw more money at worse players, so they were the starters.

Who knows? Maybe we will start bundling up those 6th rounders to move up or even for picks next year.

I mean, Colts receivers have a history of packing.

Maybe the point is they didn't feel a 4th of the team will be around come September....
