Hopefully neo-cons stop masturbating to the idea of another civil war long enough to read this.

And it's a prison chapel, not a church...lol.

Someone doesn't have to be a saint, or even nice, to be not guilty.

Nor an image of someone doing something that appears decent make them any less of a monster.

I will admit I'm looking forward to the holidays with my wife's family in rural PA where things are going to go from "People are poor because they're lazy and spend their money stupidly" to "People are poor because of the government and not their own fault" now that a democrat is in office again.

I've been having fun conversations with business owners and managers that blamed their staffing issues on the expanded unemployment funds. Now those funds are gone and the people still don't want to work their shitty jobs for low pay, they are having a hard time reconciling things. It's almost as if the unemployment benefits weren't the problem in the first place. Shocked

What's funny about that to me is the astro-turf efforts to eliminate the use of CRT (which isn't really a part of our K-12 curriculum) is quite literally removing the teaching of critical thinking from the schools in favor of teaching them what to think about events.

Good ol' government benefits...you take 'em when you're entitled to them and then cry "too exploitable" when you aren't.  As someone who didn't miss an hour of work nor someone who owns a business that shut down during the pandemic I can declare that the unexpanded unemployment benefits and that business bailout stuff was all a bunch of wasted money that people stole outta my paycheck.

I'd better not see anyone who got one of those pandemic business loans buying steak or using an iphone!

Still the top . . . .

When she was moved to the Crimea, she took it to another level, shifted from killing officers to hunting other snipers.
