People wouldn't think that way of he didn't outwardly discuss taking them or talk about how grand life in Europe

The anti gun crowd brings this reaction from the gun crowd. Why they don't just educate everyone on guns in schools is beyond me . It would lead to a more informed electorate which is probably not what they want anyway. And education would lessen the effect that the NRA had on the issue.

Meh, Republicans have been playing the "he's gonna take our guns" card since JFK was running for office.  In a way they should be glad they are finally right, I guess. Well, except they aren't.
