He had posted selfies to try to prove it was actually him before he was officially verified and it did seem to me to be a legit account. But honestly figured it was a master troll with a masterfully constructed parody account. Literally every 1 to 2 minutes he makes a new post and they're all something he expect to see on come from /pol or r/Donald. If you have the time it's worth scrolling through every post from the past few weeks.

Twitter required him to send in a valid US driver's license, passport and his birth certificate.

He then trolled about how Twitter has a more rigorous verification process (since it requires an ID) than voting in the US elections. Masterful.

EDIT: One of his more sarcastic Tweets:

"If it is racist to require ID to vote it is racist to require a BLACK KENYAN MAN use his ID to be verified."

EDIT: He's toned down the spice a bit the last few days, but his Tweets between October 19 and the 25th are some gold.

Ok, I didn't realize that. I'll go back and check my dates.

By 2009 for sure, they had poor Pakistanis and Indians and Nepalese doing all the nasty work--cleaning up, food service, laundry, at least on FOBs.  And those guys were ripped off terribly, starting at 200 bucks per month. No "danger pay" for them.  Sometimes they were warehoused for months without pay, until they could be used. Same thing in Iraq.  And they had to work for two-year stints.
