As far as Schumer, she was funny the first few times I saw her. She fell into the same rut a lot of comedians do (Miller being one of them) and just never grew. Carlin still broke out the same jokes every once in a while, but if you watched him doing stand up, it wasn't like any two performance were essentially the same.

I don't know anything about this Schumer lady, but I can't really blame any entertainer for running a single routine into the ground.  The American consumer isn't exactly known for desiring new and interesting things.  Disco, superhero movies, smelly vagina routines from female comediennes; run 'em into the ground and fish the lake dry until there is a gigantic backlash and then move on.

I will say keeping with the old "They don't boo nobodies" mantra, the only reason I'm aware of Amy Schumer is because of people complaining about her. Just looking at her I thought she might be a Fox News analyst, but a bit on the chunky side for that.
