Murderous linebackers and wife beating running backs are so hard to come by, though.

Smack Talk.  Where Strawmen are an accepted, almost required form of debate.   ThumbsUp

How many seasons has it been since Baltimore beat Cincinnati again? As another member said, become relevant again and then we will talk.   ThumbsUp

Just like a Bengal fan not to know what a strawman is as it relates to a debate...Ohio Education at it's finest.

Kinda sad the first thing people think of at the mention of strawmen is your Feeble football team, no? Weak Pennsylvania football at its finest.

I mean this is only relevant because you think you are people.  Since you're not...it's not.  Bengals by the way are the "kinda Sad" team of the entire NFL.   ThumbsUp

Women beating corners aren't too tough to find.

Which team has a playoff win within the last 2 years? Hell, last 25 years? 5 playoff appearances with an 0-5 record is less relevant than 3 playoff appearances with a 5-2 record and championship within the last 5 years.

Wake me up when your team is relevant.

So Baltimore has never drafted a murderous linebacker or wife beating running back?

Not compared to murderous linebackers. Those guys are once in a lifetime.

Isn't this place for talking to? Shouldn't debates and more rational conversations go to a place not titled 'Smack Talk'?

I agree that this isn't a straw man. The suggestion was that the Ravens record was due in part to Lewis and Rice and with them gone, the win percentage would decrease. It was implied, not explicitly stated.

However, none of this explains why the Bengals are soooooo bad these last 5 years in the payoffs compared to the huge success of the Ravens.

And I agreed with you. The Titans proved that when they drafted Pacman Jones.

Where's the disconnect here?
