Report: Kremlin blackmailing/cultivating Trump for years
#1
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/10/politics/donald-trump-intelligence-report-russia/index.html

Someone said to be a former British intelligence agent has been passing around a report of a compilation of allegations from his Kremlin sources detailing a years long campaign by the Russian government to black mail and cultivate Trump.

The report was sent to elected officials and members of the press months ago, but Buzzfeed is just now making it available to the public. John McCain announced today that he forwarded his copy to the FBI when he got it last year.

The full report can be found at this Buzzfeed link

https://www.buzzfeed.com/kenbensinger/these-reports-allege-trump-has-deep-ties-to-russia?utm_term=.uc2Kgz5wV#.gdBnoJ1e2

Trump was dismissed the report and called it "fake news" and a "political witch hunt".

Allegations are based on anonymous sources and cannot be confirmed, but according to CNN, the British agent is known to have credible information according to US intelligence sources. The allegations were summarized in a two page memo as part of the Russian interference report given to Obama and Trump.

One of the more bizarre claims is that Trump stayed in the Presidential Suite at the RItz Carlton in Moscow, the suite the Obamas stayed when visiting Russia, and hired prostitutes to perform golden showers on the bed the Obamas slept in. It is said that the Russian government heavily bugs and monitors the hotel. This was apparently one of many sexual or perverted exploits of his during his years of visiting Russia that the Russian government collected as black mail material.

The report also mentioned Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign manager who was ousted after it was revealed that he worked heavily with the former pro-Russian leader of Ukraine. One of the claims is that Trump would not make Russian involvement in Ukraine an issue and question the need for NATO.

Involvements may reach as far back as 8 years with the Trump team reporting on the activities of Russian elites within Trump's business and social circle in the US.

Hacked emails were intended to shift Bernie supporters from Hillary to Trump and Russia paid to bring Jill Stein to Russia to turn younger voters away from Hillary towards Stein.

I can't wait for him to flip out on reporters in a few minutes. Maybe he'll wave his tiny hands around and say 'do I look like the kind of guy who likes to get pissed on?'

Yes you do Daddy. Yes you do.

Quote: President-elect Donald Trump was not told about unverified reports that Russia has compromising information on him during last week's intelligence briefing, according to a senior intelligence official with knowledge of preparations for the briefing.

A summary of the unverified reports was prepared as background material for the briefing, but not discussed during the meeting, the official said.

Two U.S. officials told NBC News that materials prepared for Trump during last week's intelligence briefing included damaging allegations — unverified by American intelligence agencies — about his dealings with the Russians.

A 35-page dossier published by BuzzFeed on Tuesday includes claims that the Russian government has been cultivating, supporting and assisting Trump for five years — even obtaining compromising information in an effort to blackmail him. The document, which was not prepared by the U.S. government, contains obvious errors.

Officials prepared a two-page summary of the dossier, which was originally generated as part of opposition research by anti-Trump Republicans and then shopped by Democrats. The officials said the summary was generated for Trump's briefing Friday at Trump Tower in New York.

Multiple officials say that the summary was included in the material prepared for the briefers, but the senior official told NBC News that the briefing was oral and no actual documents were left with the Trump team in New York. During the briefing, the president-elect was not briefed on the contents of the summary .

"Intel and law enforcement officials agree that none of the investigations have found any conclusive or direct link between Trump and the Russian government period," the senior official said.

According to the senior official, the two-page summary about the unsubstantiated material made available to the briefers was to provide context, should they need it, to draw the distinction for Trump between analyzed intelligence and unvetted "disinformation."

The briefers also had available to them unvetted "disinformation" about the Clinton Foundation, although that was not orally shared with Trump.

Trump refuses to take questions from CNN and calls them fake news, trying to imply that they reported details of the report shared by Buzzfeed. CNN responds, explaining that they merely reported on the fact that intelligence agents were prepared to brief Obama and Trump on the information in the report

Quote:CNN's decision to publish carefully sourced reporting about the operations of our government is vastly different than Buzzfeed's decision to publish unsubstantiated memos. The Trump team knows this. They are using Buzzfeed's decision to deflect from CNN's reporting, which has been matched by the other major news organizations.

We are fully confident in our reporting. It represents the core of what the First Amendment protects, informing the people of the inner workings of their government; in this case, briefing materials prepared for President Obama and President-elect Trump last week.
We made it clear that we were not publishing any of the details of the 35-page document because we have not corroborated the report's allegations. Given that members of the Trump transition team have so vocally criticized our reporting, we encourage them to identify, specifically, what they believe to be inaccurate.

Remember when right wingers and the good folks over at FOX news got the vapors because Obama said he thought they were a bit biased against him?

Ah...the good old days.

in trumps defense, he had no way of knowing intelligence briefs were going to cover the report. Its not like he goes to those.

agreed.

when people voted for trump, they voted for the circus that went along with him. Complaining about other people laughing at the warts after you kiss the frog is silly.

What's interesting about this is that Russia/USSR has apparently been in favor of Trump holding office for years. I can't find it anymore, but there were articles about Russian influence on Trump to hold office decades ago. If true, it's interesting to think about.
