I thought we had a thread on the latest unqualified guy Trump nominated but since we don't I'll just leave this gem here.

Looks like he didn't make the cut.

Chris Hayes had some interesting discussion about this last night. His guest (I forget the name) surmised that the 1% wanted a REAL ECONOMIST at the Fed. 

Hayes surmised that Republicans in the Senate DO buck Trump when it comes to economic matters, so he was contesting the thesis that most just go along because they are afraid of their base. 

One guest, a Republican strategist, disputed this, claiming it really was the all nasty racist sexist comments which tanked him.
