If any weight loss foundation tells you anything other than eat less calories than you expend in the day...they are simply trying to get you to by some garbage you don't need.

Not that this issue could ever be more disgusting....but this undoubtedly is the source of his relationship with the guy he had hired to run his foundation that was also arrested....a foundation that I believe worked with kids.

Hopefully they decided these guys weren't building a network/ring when they offer fatty the plea deal.

As for Subway, it isn't bad. IMO it's one of the better choices out there for fast food, especially if you're watching calories.

Isn't it funny that pervs go from just looking like a dork (before accusations) to "He looks like a molester".  4 months ago I would have just thought that was a bad picture of a dweeby guy.  Now it just screams pervert.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

He'll probably be housed with other "non desirables" (ie sex offenders) for his protection...  Unfortunately.

Ha...this is definitely true.  Now that I know that he is a NAMBLA creep, he definitely looks like one.  Before, I would have just said that he looks like a guy that has the guys over for the occasional Dungeons and Dragons party.

Wow, if he pleaded guilty, they must have had much more on him.  He'd better pray for protective custody..

Well, he took a plea so we'll have to see what it is.  He probably rolled on ring leaders like an Italian parmesan.

I only caught pieces of it, but it sounds like he paid for sex with underage girls (in addition to child porn provided by his buddy)....$1.4M in restitution to 14 victims and register as a sex offender.

So it SOUNDS like no jail time. Unbelievable.

This site says the plea still gets him between five and 12 years:

Quote:On Wednesday, prosecutors announced Fogle would plead guilty to federal child pornography and sex charges, for which he faces between five and 12 years in prison.

More than just being disgusting because how can you be attracted to girls that are still developing, how the hell did he think all of this wouldn't come out?  Teenage girls suddenly having large amounts of money wouldn't set-off any alarms to adults?

Maybe I'm just too tired to think right now, but this just blows my mind.

I read those two paragraphs over and over.  It is completely vague as to whether he faces prison time or not.  To me the article reads that the charges he was brought up on could have warranted 5-12 however he has made a plea agreement that does not include prison time.

Here is a better written article in which the prison time is listed along with the other plea agreement items.

It said "no less than 5," but when will he be eligible for parole?  Was the "no less than 5" just for the initial sentence, or was it "no less than 5 until possible parole"?

People say they're tough on predators now, but it seems like pretty often there's a story you'll see on the news that says "he only served one year of a ten year conviction, was out on parole, and committed another rape of another minor."

It varies by state, but typically during sentencing a judge will outline the terms. As in, "you're sentenced to 5 years in jail with a possibility for parole after X days." The X can vary by state depending on parole guidelines. For federal court, there is no parole. I think for most states, they have different percentages for violent and non-violent offenses, but that's just an assumption on my part. I.E., 60% of the sentence for violent and 40% for non-violent.

He has not been sentenced yet.  This is what is called an "open plea" because there is no exact length of the sentence.  There will be a complet "sentencing hearing" after which the judge will decide the sentence.

The only agreement for the sentence is that he will get between 5 and 13 years.  And there is no parole on these federal charges.  He may be able to reduce them slightly with institutional "good time" credit, but he will still serve about 90% of the time in a federal prison.

I think he avoided a huge prison sentence because these were teenage girls instead of children. Technically he is not a pedophile.

I get what you're saying....But I don't know if 14 teenagers is better/worse than a couple of children.  Both are about as horrific as it gets.

Maybe the DA gave him a small break to get money to the victims without having to be subjected to suing him, although I'd think they line-up to take everything he has (if anything is left after his wife is through).

I'll concede that Jared's prolly been a creep his entire life. But there's something to be said about how money can make even guys like him feel untouchable.

I wonder if he'll get back on the Subway diet after he's released. Because unless he works out he'll be a ( large man ) again. Karma's a bïtch like that.
