I thought it would be interesting for us to speculate and bandy about ideas as to who will be in Trump's cabinet and in what positions. I've heard Giuliani mentioned as Attorney General, which strikes me as a solid, and likely move. Any other thoughts?

I don't think Christie could get past the nomination process right now. I think he'll end up as chief of staff. Please no Alan West, his political career was mercifully brief and needs to stay that way. I think Sunset is on to something with Carson as SG.

AG is head of DOJ, just a little fyi there. It's the only cabinet position other than VP that is not a secretary.

I heard Donald & NBC will be doing a special season called 'The Oval Apprentice' to choose his cabinet and other positions.

Well, darn. I had AG on Guliani, and meant to change it to Homeland Security but I got all flustered in the sudden jab at Christie.

Giuliani - Justice or DHS, if Christie is confirmable either could go for either of these
Flynn - Defense (if not this, then he will be NSA and Hunter will be DOD)
Palin - Interior
Gingrich - State
Priebus - Chief of Staff (not cabinet officially, but cabinet level)
Mnuchin - Treasury
Hamm - Energy
Huckabee - Commerce
Carson - Education
Sessions - OMB (not cabinet officially, but cabinet level)
Scott - HHS
Cramer - Energy
??? - HUD
??? - Vet Affairs
??? - Agriculture
??? - Labor
??? - Transportation
It's hard because typical choices for cabinet positions come from high ranking, high profile party elites, but they weren't very friendly with Trump. You run out of names before you run out of cabinet positions, so we will probably see some lesser knowns on the list.

That's almost as humorous as Fiorina as Commerce. Would we just not teach anything that happened pre-3000 BC?
