Universal Health Care

People that claim we "can't afford" universal health care do not realize that we are already paying for it through bankruptcies and high insurance premiums.

When a health care provider writes off a loss every other patient ends up paying for it.  and the number one cause of bankruptcy in the United States is health care debts.

I wish more people would pay attention to the healthcare bubble.

We spend more than $3 trillion on healthcare each year (private and public), and costs are rising too fast for most people to keep up with the cost of premiums and out of pocket expenses. It's getting where they can't afford it, which is bad considering healthcare spending is expected to be nearly 20 % of our GDP by 2020. That's going to be a huge chunk of people out of work if that industry has to have a sudden reshuffle.
