***Week 15 GameDay Thread - Patriots @ Bengals***
(12-15-2019, 05:05 PM)swilson3828 Wrote: Reality is that this is not all on Dalton. A LOT of this is the new staff and the total bullshit calls they make, especially on offense. A lot of these passes are timing plays and if the receiver doesn't turn around at the right point or overruns the route then the play is in trouble. Now I'm not a huge Dalton fan at QB, but I absolutely don't think he is the only one to blame for this mess we see. there is plenty of blame to go around from the players to the coaching staff period.

It happens when your QB has 71 yds and two picks.

Holding on Vigil.  The tackle had nothing but jersey for the entire play and it wasn't called.  What a shit show pathetic excuse for a league.  CALL HOLDING ON THE PATRIOTS.  What a shitty product.

.......and keep in mind that starting over with a new, rookie QB usually takes a couple years to take hold. We draft Burrow.........it's not going to matter if other areas don't significantly change and improve. After a few years Burrow will be another Palmer demanding a trade or threatening to retire because he doesn't want to be a part of Brown's bullshit anymore.

So I have been painting today and thought I made a mess of things. Looks like we need a new red rifle name for Andy.

People actually choose to live in Cleveland?

True, good point. It’s just amazing how we could lose last week after winning every category other than the score of course. And now this mess. NE looked so bad in the first half and we literally are handing them the game.

Hmmmm

I believe I have heard that before around here.

Pats obviously picked up something on that illegal tape.

Yeah...the fumble on the punt, and the fourth and one football length failure was all on Dalton.  Get real man.  Tom Brady wouldn't do anything for this team, much less Dalton.

I think it's more like all 3 of the Mike Brown-era QBs in Esiason's later years, Palmer, and Dalton have all disappointed and left in a rather disgraced state.

You’re stuck in the old days with that type of thinking. All the best QB’s in the league (outside of Wilson) are on their rookie contracts right now: Mahomes, Jackson, Watson, Dak...

It’s a QB driven league more than ever.

Last time we started over with a rookie QB we went to the playoffs 5 straight years.

But don't let that get in the way of a good whine.

I love how this game is playing out. We are playing a good game but losing because of Andy. Still in line for the #1 pick, and the players who are likely to be here next season are playing pretty well together against a good team in need of a win.

Its a good football Sunday. WhoDey....
