What we knew
#1
We knew the good times had to come to an end eventually. 5 straight postseason trips, we had our shot

We knew Mike made same historic mistake as father when he let Walsh go. Choosing Marvin over Zimmer will go down as the worse decision made by the Brown family and will set the franchise back another 25 years.

We knew Zampese had plenty chances to be OC and no other team ever wanted him.

We knew we haven't had a run game since Ced B was carrying the rock.

We knew Marvin has never been able to fix the D without Zimmer.

We knew our LB's would struggle given the Haslett hire and his Defenses over the years.

We knew cause we were shocked that we lost the wrong Hayes, and replaced him with someone who has been out of the league for years.

We knew Green was overrated and never showed up in big games. Or consistently every week.

We knew this Oline was overrated.

We knew Ced O was a significant reach as most pundits had him going in the 3rd round.

We knew we just don't have the coaches to win a championship or playoff game.

We knew all good things had to come to an end eventually.

Green is the only offense we have.

When he decides to show up. He should have dominated Dallas cb's. That was the one thing many thought was a mismatch. He's had 2 good games in 5 and the games we needed him the most..... crickets. Dalton and Gio were left hanging.

Dallas schemed to take him out, our coaches did not adjust.  Plain and simple.

He was held, and they planned to take him out of the game.  Lafell did ok in second half, butt all start with the OL.  Can't pass protect, can't run block - pretty inept on offense.

He cannot dominate any defense when his QB is getting 2 second or less to throw with only 4 and sometimes 3 rushing

Dallas had 7 men in coverage the whole game and sometimes 8 while Dalton was getting creamed by pressure up the middle through Bodine and Zeitler or our RT pretty much whiffing on almost any play.

AJ is a great player and Dalton would have found him and picked Dallas apart if he had had the time to throw available almost every play to the rookie Dallas QB.

There was no scheming by that weak Dallas defense. Green was covered by a draft bust most of the night. Dalton didn't get protected, but Green was once again held in check in a big game. And that we "know" happens.

We knew the Brandon Tate era would come to an end.... You forgot that downgrade in the op.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

julio jones  had 25 yards in a win yesterday.  I guess they can get rid of him as they can win without him.

Agree with everything. It that AJ comment. Dallas had a good scheme to stop Andy from throwing him the ball and also our o-line can't block to save their life so what time does Andy have to give Aj the ball? Coaches make no adjustments. As I have always said Marvin Lewis is the bob stoops of the NFL. Good coach by sucks in big games and has big expectations every single year.

Funny how you claiem that you "knew" two completely contradictory things.

We "knew" that no other team wanted Zimmer as a head coach for a very long time.  So why does that prove Zampese is bad that no other team had made him an OC before now?

Green was not overrated.  Not even the best WRs in the league have great games every week.  Give me any name you want and I will show you games where that WR has been shut down.

This is just silly.

Dalton was literally running for his life the entire game. How the hell is a guy supposed to dominate when our QB has no time to get him the ball?

You are literally criticizing the one guy that has been good for us the entire year. You cant be that stupid...

Stop making stuff up.  You actually have some valid points, but when you just make stuff up it makes everything you say look silly.

There was a known reason for Zimmer (too blunt, but well respected coach).

Yes he can,

This is a perfect example of how some haters go so far over the top.  They can't have a realistic discussion about the real problems because they are making up problems that don't really exist.

Green has been good on a bad team. But he has not shown up in the games we needed him the most (as usual). There's no denying that. He's had 2 good games out of 3. You disagree? Hate to break it to you but if Dalton could get ball to Lafell, then he could have gotten it to Green.

Unfortunately Green disappearing in big games has exists and has for awhile. You can deny it and claim it's unfounded and is a problem that doesn't exist. But that's on you.

If I had the time, I could fine just as many that had him going in the 3rd. Either way he was a reach. And we KNEW it.

Sorry, but you don't think teams try to take away Green?  Considering the fact he is one of the top receivers in the NFL, you don't think he is the focus for defensive coordinators?  Especially when it is LaFell and Boyd behind him?  Now throw in the fact that Dalton is getting beat behind an extremely porous offensive line.

Green has 36 receptions for 518 yards, LaFell has 21 for 276.  How exactly is he "getting the ball to LaFell", but not to Green?

If your elite, you must make plays when double covered. Greens too easily taken out of games by physical corners or "scheme". Still. And I thought we knew that. And accepted it.

As far as Lafell I'm talking about yesterday. Since everyone is using the Oline excuse.
