Egg goo is kind of a staple here.

I make fried squash, zucchini, shrimp, asparagus, etc and it's basically the same recipe. Either a beer batter or a seasoned flour, but the meat/vegetables are also in a mix of eggs and milk. Even if it's a batter, I soak it in egg stuff first.
