Peter himself is portrayed as good looking, but after his awkward high school years, yea. That's what made Tobey great for him as a the nerd in high school.
Also, if you're going to reboot the series, you need Peter now so that you can introduce Miles later on.

Meh. I liked ASM 2, hated SM 3. They just tried to fit too much into the third movie.

I didn't say it sucked to defend Spider-Man 3 **** that movie. They both blew chunks.
