We probably just lost Cook and Mixon.

Marvin didn't think 11 picks could make the roster. Duke says you can never have too many picks. We obviously know which side Mike Brown took.

This could go down in history as the dumbest thing we've ever done...or not

I know this is asking a lot. But let's see how it plays out before we condemn it. Still lots of talent there.

Phew...Eagles picked Sidney Jones.

Not so much "increased traffic" as 1000 people clicking refresh in unison.

This site doesn't make money, so we just have to deal with what we got.

Half ass following on my phone and didn't even realize we traded down. I just saw the FSU kid at 41 and thought a lot of you would be happy.

Rams, Bears, Colts.  Those are the ones who could take Mixon.  Baltimore can't even glance at him thanks to Ray Rice...

RE: ***Official 2017 NFL Draft Day Thread*** - masterpanthera_t - 04-28-2017

Five more picks to go, and Mixon Williams and Cunningham still there.

Cook is gone and in all likelihood so is Mixon. Go figure.

Do you think Baltimore will take Mixon?

RE: ***Official 2017 NFL Draft Day Thread*** - Bilbo Saggins - 04-28-2017

I like the trade down.  Cook or Mixon don't seem that much more spectacular than Foreman to me.  Still a lot of good o-line on the board.  I hope that they trade back up to where the glut of talent is in the draft though, which would probably be 2nd or 3rd if i had to guess.

We can chip in if the cost isn't insane. Plus based on asnother post and the behavior (the whole site crashed out) I'm wondering if there is a concurrent connection issue here.

How about if someone bans your ass? You don't understand English? No one here wants to hear it until it's announced.

I could say it in Spanish if you'd like.

Ravens or Colts are likely to take Mixon..

This is nerve-racking.

Agreed.

Could be a great move... depending on who we take.

RE: ***Official 2017 NFL Draft Day Thread*** - kevin - 04-28-2017

So Bengals trade pick 41 to Vikings who took RB Cook....We move to 48 and get pick 128 from Vikings......IF WE NEED A BIG MAN, a DT or a O LIneman or a LB, we best be doing it per ESPN and CBS announcers...This is where they will start going and you can NOT get a big man in August. We went finesse in round 1, but lets not go weak and all finesse. Lets not get kicked up and down the field. WE need Blocking, We need Tackling.

I thought the same thing....why trade down.....we had 11 picks...get starters not back ups....I know it's a deep draft but there were 2 quality RB's there at 41....

Probably not because of their Ray Rice nightmare.  I'm looking at the Bears as a likely destination.

Not sure how it works here, but maybe a user fundraiser to get a new site server?

Could've been looking for more ammo to acquire and extra 3rd with, as well.
