The Steelers used to be able to win with defense and ST's when Ben went down. Now, they are a track meet team and aren't going to be able outscore anybody in a shoot out with Ben out, given their weak secondary. In fact, as we saw in the playoffs, an injury to Bell makes them a drastically different offense. If they lose any of their big offensive weapons, be it Brown, Miller, or Bell for a lengthy period, they could be in big trouble.

The Steelers have a very good o-line, co-AFC offensive players of the year and Miller and bryant who thrive off of play action. 16 games with Bruce Gradowski and that offense still finishes top 15-20. Even Landry Jones wouldn't have the offense finish in the bottom 3 at the end of the season.

The Steelers finished 16th best in sacks allowed despite an offense more geared towards getting the ball out quickly and tied for 16th best in yards/carry despite having a "co-AFC offensive player if the year" at RB. You don't have a good OL. You have a mediocre one that you think is very good because it's been historically bad for a long time.

So, maybe it's just me but if you get suspended is it smart to run right back in and pick up right where you left off once the suspension is lifted?
