Yea the hit out of bounds was bad and we didn't play great but we were in it at the end and the refs gave them 40 yards by not calling an obvious block in the back on the punt return and then missing an obvious hold on the Mahomes run.

So many questionable calls that didn't go our way tonight that everyone will just wave off and say well we didn't do enough, but when it's made harder for one team then doing enough becomes a lot harder.

And that's just how the league is able to influence games... by tipping the scales in favor of one team 15 or 20% or so. A Chiefs 65%  chance of winning is tilted to a very favorable 85% by consistent bad ball placement and strategic  timed non-calls.

Someone said it in the game thread, "two things can be true". I think we got hosed at times, but the team's poor play contributed to the loss. The Boyd injury hurt, the OL had shortcomings, no pass rush on Mahomes, and the defense didn't touch the ball.
