Not surprisingly the moment was lost on you.

Also not a surprise you overreact to something said in jest on this thread.

I'm not the one who has lied or accused you of being over the top or overreacting.  That's all you, pal.  Not too mention multiple posters have corrected you with multiple sources.

Perfect example of both misquoting scripture AND taking it out of context. Well done. ThumbsUp

Apart from weather coinciding with the date it's celebrated (in some geographical locations) WTH does snowflakes really have to do with Christmas ?
I have not read the entire Bible, does it liken the white snow to purity somewhere or something ?

According to the clues in the Bible, the birth should have been at the end of September: John the Baptist was conceived after his father, a priest, returned from Temple service under the priestly division of Abijah, which would have been between June 13-19 (citing Luke 1:1-25 and translating the ancient Hebrew calendar to our calendar). Assuming John the Baptist would be conceived shortly after his father's return (and the Bible makes a bit of a big deal about this) and assuming that it was a nine month pregnancy, John would have been born in late March or early April the following year. The difference in ages between John and Jesus is cited as six months (Luke 1:24-36, Mary became pregnant when Elizabeth, John's mother, was in her sixth month). Therefore, the date of birth should have been around late September or possibly early October.

The church might have been better off picking Halloween as the pagan holiday to replace, eh. Ninja

I'm actually surprised people in the south who love Jesus don't consider snowflakes and other northern symbols of the season to be off-putting when combined with Christmas.  I guess snowflakes and pine treets mean Christmas, so there is no Christmas in Florida?

I learned how to misquote statements taken out of context without doing any research of my own right here, boss.  Thanks for noticing.
