Declare a tie and be done with it. I don’t even care that we’re leading.

My wife watched it, and she’s guessing a heart arrhythmia that caused cardiac arrest.

I remember about 20 yrs back a Lions Offensive Lineman became quadriplegic during a Thanksgiving game I believe, and the hit did not look like much. Sometimes they look very innocuous but enough to do serious damage.

Yeah, money is involved, but Burrow and Allen alone are going to have like a billion bucks between them eventually. This is prime time, too...there aren't 10 other games on right now to distract people. The world is watching this, and I'd wager that's why the NFL is sweating and wondering what to do.
Regardless of how fans feel about it there are still contractual obligations and those contracts don't get cancelled because of an injury or death. There's a whole lot of money involved here and money doesn't care about feelings. If the league just cancelled the game they're probably going to be liable for millions upon millions, betting houses will be liable, fans and tickets..
The league has to be weighing all of these considerations..

Just shocked and saddened. Hope to God he makes it through this
Yes, I am afraid he suffered a broken neck.

Casinos or online sites can just refund the $. Games have been cancelled before. I think they need to call it for tonight and figure out the logistics later
Not really that important so just call it a night

Dale passed from a basil skull fracture. Same thing could happen here I suppose but don't really know what forces are needed for that to occur.

They're dismantling the sideline - game over. Also Diggs in a towel makes it pretty clear.

Basketball heads. Didn't a basketball player collapse on the court and died? Want to say Celtics, but can be wrong.

I don't think there was that kind of force involved. Also he popped right up and didn't grab his neck or back, and his helmeted head was being supported by his neck.
