Honestly is been unusually quiet across the league since Thursday night. Aside from the fields news.

I will be concerned if Bengals have not filled holes at DT and OT prior the draft. I am patient, they have a month to get it done.

Yes but quality players get don't stick around forever.

It has been relatively slow and quiet around the league, so I'm trying to remain patient, but, as a Bengals fan, I've been conditioned to expect the worst..........

I agree but this coaching staff does not see it that way.

We are not getting all pro DT or OT unless we make a trade. The good news for us right now is guys we have shown an interest re still available. Also, other one dimensional DT's available. Also a few RT's left.

At this point, when it comes to RT, may as well hold onto that cap space and see if one worthwhile shakes loose after the draft? It should have never come to this, but here we are.

Browns add another QB. They were supposedly adding Jamais Winston but he still isn't under contract as far as I can tell, so I don't know if this move is in place of or in addition to Winston

Is Mike Hilton safe? Bengals could save 6 million in cap space by cutting prior to the final 53 roster is set.

Is Dax Hill the slot corner replacement long term for Hilton?

If so, if Dax has a great preseason should Bengals cut Hilton?

Which is exactly what the Bengals need to do, line up under center and pound the rock a little more.  Burrow was even quoted as saying that all of the under center stuff that we saw Browning running is what they were working on prior to his injuries.  Change is coming, the 3 WR, 11 package isn't sticking around forever as defenses have been able to diagnose and solve too easily in the past two years.

Interesting. I am surprised Ravens did not sign him again. Their backup QB as of now is Josh Johnson. They need 3 OL and a backup QB. They may have to draft a backup QB in the draft.

As for the Browns, if Winston did not sign, my guess Denver will go after him. They have no QB and don't draft until 12th so at least top 3 may be gone.

So we should now be targeting Yosh Nijman, and making a counter offer to Teair Tart?

I'm not (realistically) hoping for All-Pro DTs or OTs, but I would like quality players.

If we could sign a RT with All-Pro potential, I think that would be worth it to protect Joey, but I do want quality. I get it that there's not many (any) All-Pro tackles available, so we want to get the best available.

If we don't make a run at the tackles at the top, when they're gone, the pool of tackles that are a tier below them will dry up quick.

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Nijman might suffice although he gave up 2 sacks in just 220 snaps....so over the course of a whole season that could be 10 sacks possibly??

I agree, but all of the good choices seem to be already taken, or out of the price range that the Bengals are willing to pay for that spot.
