Yeah, I remember that story. But I think Jesus said something along the lines of, "Get the hell outta my way, you losers! I get to throw the first stone because I'm the g** d*** Son of God, you punks! I'm the only one who can make this country great again!!! Back the hell up, or I'll off you b*****s with my AK!!!".

I'll need to go back to my conservative evangelical Bible study to get the exact words, though.

I have a hard time believing he actually made that comment. After all, Christianity couldn't sell any franchises without sinners as owner/operators not to mention paying customers. I was going to look it up, but decided I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

But that is the beauty of neo-Christian/Good-Ole-Boy philosophy. It's not about your sins. It's about the other dude's sins. And about you being able to publicly condemn the other dude for his sins and draw peoples attention from your sins. As Jesus said in the First Unabridged Revisionists Bible, "For every sin thou points out on thy neighbor, one of thy sins is forgiven". Or something like that, anyway.

I see that CNN was pointing out that the Obama inaugural crowd in attendance was larger than the one today, for Trump's inauguration. Seems legit, as most of the Trump voters had to work today.

They could have held the inauguration in one of the sprawling metropolises Trump won, rather than one filled with democrats. All this fellating of "real america" and the rural areas and Trump is sworn in in DC and wants to spend his time living in Manhattan. It's like he doesn't actually care about Montana, or something.

FWIW, I've tried to find a source of that quote and I haven't had any luck (maybe someone else has). I have a hard time believing he wouldn't get smote for that.
