If the Bengals score a Safety on the Saints?  I'll buy you a 12 pack of your favorite brew, or a pint of your favorite liquor.   LOL

Your 29 caught me by surprise. It’s not a very common number.

Anyway, I got to looking into it, only 9 times in history has a game finished in that score. I hope it does to make 10!

The line is 4.5 and most experts are predicting a close score than this here

Saints (-5) at Bengals
This is a tough turnaround for the Saints, coming off a big home victory over the Rams and now facing a good team coming off the bye on the road. The Bengals are banged up with A.J. Green likely out, which will help the Saints secondary. But I think the Bengals hang around in this one. Saints win it, but it's tight.
Pick: Saints 24, Bengals 23

Saints at Bengals

MDS’s take: The Saints could be due for a letdown after their big win over the Rams, but I think they’ll pull it together and pull off a late victory in a close game.

MDS’s pick: Saints 28, Bengals 27.

Florio’s take: The Saints need to win games like this one, because for the most part the challenges will only be getting more daunting.

Florio’s pick: Saints 27, Bengals 21.

I saw what Brian Billick had to say about this game and it wasn't pretty.

Saints roll up 585 yards in offense with 7 scoring drives but have to settle for 5 FGs

That score had only occurred TWICE before in the history of the NFL.

Wow, I didn’t know that.

And settling for 5 field goals against the worst 3rd down defense in the nfl?

Bengals only loss so far in THE JUNGLE was that last second drive by Steelers

If Bengals can play Steelers down to last seconds in THE JUNGLE, they can with Saints also

I've noticed over the years if you get Saints out of New Orleans on the road, they can be beaten

Unlike Steelers game, Bengals win this one in last seconds.  Bengals go to 6-3 and 4-1 in THE JUNGLE. 3-1 against NFC South.

It might even help if it is Ohio November cold and rainy Sunday.  Southern teams and Dome teams don't like that weather and Saints are both.  I only wish it could be snow and ice bowl weather for this warm weather indoor basketball dome team.  The prediction for Saturday is it doesn't get out of the 30's.  Let's have that Sunday as well.

I'd agree.............EXCEPT.... the Bengals are GUTTED by injury.  we have a rd 1 (All star) WR OUT. We have a star TE out,and his backup OUT. we likely are minus TWO  starting LB's and a major CB.  Gio is out. Important guy, Lawson, out., injuries on the O-line, already a weak link.

IF............Bengals were 100%, i'd say they can compete.  Well.... that won't happen, especially not THIS week.  we'd need LUCK, lots of it.
