But saying they're a small population. 11 million Nazi sympathizers  is 11 million too many. I'd hope the POTUS would call those people out, instead of downplaying them.

And he would not have to lie about there being no Russian interference in the election at all, right?

Why not trust a man who was proven to lie about then issue.  He has never lied about anything else.

Conversely, if you feel disappointed or angry that the Mueller report didn't find any evidence that the current President of the US is a Russian asset, or colluded with Russia, then you might just be a partisan *******.

(The amount of people upset our President *isn't* a Russian conspirator is shocking. Isn't that a GOOD thing?)

Benghazi=double digit investigations that resulted in 0 guilty pleas/arraignments
Mueller Report= a single report that resulted in more than 30 arraignments/guilty pleas, many from some type of financial mishandling

They really aren't comparable. Benghazi was a giant waste of time and money trying to discredit Clinton. Mueller was several arrests on various charges.

I don't know about upset that Trump isn't a conspirator, but I think people are surprised. You had a foreign agent working with the GOP and donors, you had people in the Trump camp asking Russia for assistance with Clinton. I didn't think Mueller's report would be too damning of the President, the guy is a government employee afterall.

Arrests unrelated to collusion.  You kind of left that out.  Actually, not even arrests.  The indictments of the overseas entities are kind of dubious, given when one of them actually showed up to defend themselves Mueller suddenly needed an extension.  And what you're otherwise left with is a handful of process crimes (lying), and indictments of Manafort and Gates that could have been brought years earlier but for some reason were not.

And nevermind the bullshit Benghazi "talking points" edited before paraded out to the Democratic state media....or the the fall guy sent to prison over it.

Yeah, they aren't equal, and they very much are.  Non-partisans see a whole lot of bullshit on both sides

Also, a special counsel investigation, one without a crime specified, is basically the equal of inifinte Congressional inquiries. Actually, it's still greater. Regretfully, we never got a special counsel for Benghazi, the IRS, Fast & Furious, Hillary's emails, etc...

And you had the campaign manager handing over campaign polling to the Russians.

I can only assume the "intent" and "coordination" requirements were not sufficiently met.
It's not like they weren't trying.

Another point--Mueller was not just looking for collusion; that was part of the larger project of discovering how and to what degree Russians intervened in the election. And that appears to have paid off.  Another contrast to Benghazi hearings.

Hard to look into guys like manafort, Stone and cohen without finding some kind of fraud . . . .
