President and First Lady test POSITIVE!
He probably shouldn't have gotten tested. He wouldn't have got it if you go by his philosophy.

Is anyone watching Fox? They are promoting the seriousness of the virus and the need to wear masks, socially distance, and quarantine.

He can say what he wants, but there isn’t much he can do especially with a Democrat House and maybe Senate.

I am not saying he did the right thing, just that there is a VERY real double standard in the media when it comes to masks and social distancing.  Her in NY Cuomo flipped out on a citizen for calling him out for not wearing a mask or social distancing, but while on TV berating people for not wearing masks or social distancing.

I agree. There is a lot of double standards going on and this is in no way exclusively happening on the right side of the spectrum. No doubt, imho.

But yeah, as you said, this does not make Trump's actions right or excuse them in any way.

I'd just prefer to not reelect a man who trashes the democratic process.  Let him go be the czar of some shithole dictatorship country.  No need to use the highest platform to promote that crap here.

Im just really burned out on hearing a man with Trump's resume calling our country a corrupt mess.

In yet another case of Dems being held at different standards. They are calling for Biden to suspend his campaign, which he will likely be pressured into doing.

2 things.
Those who are criticizing those for mocking Trump has forgot how they mocked Hillary when she had pneumonia.
Also, Trump was never asked to suspend his campaign and continued to hit her over her health through the episode and all the way up to the election.

Maybe it's too soon, but It's never too soon to call out hypocrisy when we see it.

Biden shouldn't stop. Trump and his administration have been "campaigning" for four years.

Tough luck.
Everything in this post is my fault.

Not to mention if our POTUS came from the poorest of conditions and still made their way to the Presidency I would hope they’d have access to the best healthcare available anywhere on the planet.  Plus anything and everything you said could be virtually applied to any well off person...including all the athletes, celebrities, MSM talking heads that constantly bash Trump every single day.

Because Trump thought it was other people's problem. Trump didn't come from the poorest conditions and has always had access to the best healthcare available, as he does now... and yet he still got it. Hopefully there's a positive there that he realizes health problems impact all of us.

Interestingly I think the shut down probably saved more lives from other things (car accidents, flu, mass shootings, shootings) along with keeping the number of covid related deaths down also.

Just a guess but I know I didn't get even a cold this year because people were wearing masks, I wasn't going out to eat as much, people cleaning better, etc.

Biden's campaign shouldn't be punished for Trump's irresponsible behavior.

Do you really think pro athletes, celebs, etc., go to the local town family practice office and wait their with all those deplorables?  They pay those Doctors that you are asking me what is preventing me from seeing.

These expensive doctors don’t take your insurance?

Where did you see this? According to the CDC, as of June, we were 200k deaths ahead of last year. We should be getting another update on this soon I believe, but I am not sure where you saw that they were down.

No, it's not too soon, but as you pointed out, Trump was never asked to suspend his campaign. No hypocrisy there.

I'd say it's hypocritical, though, to ask Biden to suspend his campaign because Trump is ill after Trump has been lambasting Biden's health through most of his campaign. Also mocking Hillary's health in 2016 as well.

Of course not.  Why would they or be forced to?  Consider it a premium service.

With that said, I have been perfectly happy with the healthcare I have always received.  It doesn't mean Joe Blows healthcare is bad, it just means if you are rich you can afford the best of the best.  Just like anything else.

Do the top Specialists in the Country that take care of pro athletes injuries accept my insurance?

I actually think if it wasn't for Hillary being mocked in 2016, Biden should suspend campaigning under these circumstances. I think that would be the proper thing to do in any other election cycle.

Trump rather I like him or not is the POTUS, and this should be a national emergency of sorts given his age, and him being high risk.

See y'all think because the only interaction you have with me is here that Trump is dominating my real life.  He isn't.

I've been making fun of him since the early 90's.  I post his almost daily screw-ups here because this is a board for political posts and as the POTUS and a man who ants to dominate the attention of the nation all the time he is in the news all the time.

But I hate what he does.  I hate the things he says.  I hate the way he is.  I don't want him to die or get sick.  I want him to be a better human being.  Probably too late for that now.

And if he dies?  I won't weep becuase he doesn't deserve that from me.

FTR I don't weep when any celebrity/politician dies.  They are people just like you and me.  Some I dislike, some I like.
