The Athletic's 1st mock draft, with no trades and as the standings currently are, has Mayer falling to 23rd. Coincidentally, 23rd is the Bengals' current draft position.
Another connection for Mayer, his cousin is catcher Luke Maile, who just signed a contract with the Reds
Eh, Pitts isn't used right in Atlanta. He should have ten times the production that he has had and Mariota isn't a good
throwing QB. You never know about the Draft though, you are correct Pally. I also think we will be picking later than 23.

Also, the Duke and Mike Potts pretty much said that the 2022 draft did not go the way they thought it would for the team. There were rumors from multiple media members that the Bengals were ready to take Trey McBride in the 2nd round and then the Cardinals snagged him.
True about how crazy the Draft can be, anything can happen. Didn't know that about McBride. Happy we traded up and
got CTB though, especially now after seeing what kind of player he can be. Love his physicality and the way he tackles.
He drove Tannehill backwards on that one tackle against the Titans and I thought it wasn't a 1st down.
That was impressive. Tannehill is a big QB and he had all the leverage and still CTB out fought him with his technique
and strength. Looks like a big Corner too, so he might be able to play Safety in a pinch.
