Three of the original seven were openly gay: the GI, the Cowboy and the Indian. The Cop and Biker were openly heterosexual. The other two were ambiguous about it, but were probably hetro (it tended to help their career with the group and their legacy with the fans by not being forthcoming about it... sort of a reverse Rock Hudson).
