We are #1 in the world in private donations to charitable causes, #1 in the world in non-debt-trap aid for development assistance, and we spend about $51b per year in foreign aid as a government.
But do we love each other?
Money is great and all (YAY...Capitalism) but do we take care of each other or do we just give some money to charity and then ignore the problems that cause the need for the charity?
Just asking.
