First of all they didn't say they would be violent if attempted to be arrested; they simply said they don't wish to hurt anyone, but would not "rule out" defending themselves. 

I will admit that i didn't know a lot about this story before reading this thread that attempts ( apparently successfully) to compare this to terrorism;  because it's pretty much a non-story. But after reading more about it; I must admit. I laugh even harder at those trying to drraw to correlation.
