It does appear the man reaches for his waistband and he obviously but himself in a position to be fired upon. From the video I cannot fault the officer.
Did you see the part where he charged the Officer that has been earlier reported and what exactly was I "wanting" to see?
I didn't see the part where he was on his knees with his hands in the air or prostrate on the ground when he was shot either. Like I've said to you guys on many other occasions, eyewitness testimony is usually useless and it's always best to reserve judgment until actual facts are available.
