Since we are getting technical...is Free Speech a Civil Right?
A citizen can be charged with Civil Rights violations if they deny anyone their right to Free Speech.
You can protest, hold your own rally, start a movement against whomever you do not agree with but you do not have the right to deny someone their right to Free Speech.
No, I do not believe anyone will or would be charged with a Civil Rights violation for disrupting someone from speaking but I bet they will be charged with assault, disorderly conduct and whatever else the prosecutor can dream up though.
