It is more my belief they will either simply cease to exist or go to the "Paradise" side of Hades if it exists. I think the same fate awaits those that are agnostic or atheists. However, those who openly mock God and his relgion may have to spend some time elsewhere.

As to bastardizing religion: I see it all the time (at least according to my beliefs). When I see a Christian playing with a snake or an Islam killing a girl because she is trying to go to school; I consider that bastardization.
