Colin Kapernick benches self for National Anthem

Harrison doesn't want someone of another race to speak for "his" people. He said that Kaepernick doesn't know what it's like to walk into a Foot Locker with a couple thousand dollars in his pocket (neither do I, but whatever), and have the employees look at him as if he's there to steal something.... Apparently ol' Rod didn't realize Colin is black too.... Spoiler alert Rodney.... It's OK if Jason Kidd speaks for your people too.
Dang.... It must be different, where Harrison is from.
I was in a Columbus (Easton Mall) FootLocker and about 8 black youths were having their run of the place.
They would demand their size in a certain style, try it on, model themselves in the mirror and to one another, take the shoe off, throw it at the service rep, and demand the next choice to try on.

Granted... this is a small moment in time, with only a small sample size, but I feel I must share the stark contrast in experiences.

More on topic.... I caught myself removing my hat, when hearing The National Anthem at the beginning of the local high school football game, on the radio, in the car, while driving.

This was Friday night, but I didn't remember, until this post.

I also remove it for funerals that pass.

I guess I'm programmed.

I refuse to walk over a grave, also.

I'm weird, maybe...
