Personally I think both sides are taking it to extremes. Some are trying to paint what CK did as a good thing and if you disagree with what he did you are "unAmerican". Others consider what he did "unAmerican".
I am not offended by CK's actions as I let no other person's action define my worth. I do find it disrespectful to the men that have created a Nation in which he is allowed to flourish.
EDIT: I will say he failed in what he was trying to do. Nobody is talking about why he didn't stand only the fact that he did not.
