I think that's a thing of the past.  People are aware that Jesus wasn't a white dude.  I'm 49, and was in Catholic school from 1st grade on, and we were always taught that Jesus would have looked like your average Middle Easterner.  I don't know if that's correct or not, but we knew He wasn't a white guy.
