Doesn't matter that person wasn't in your district.  That person was in a district with a teacher's union and negotiated a contract independent of the union.  Did the union flex cuff and ball gag you?  No.  You were free to negotiate.  The school district was free to tell you to go screw yourself.  Which is exactly what would happen if there wasn't a teacher's union.  They would give you the same answer.  The difference is, without being able to collectively bargain do you think you would have been able to negotiate a better health care plan?  More time off?  Flex schedule?  401K?   LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO LMAO

Gimme a break.  You would have been treated the same way you treat your new hires.  You would have received the same deal as all the others.
