Sounds to me that the POTUS wasn't all that far off base, with his tweet about the Brit's march. Seems to me like their system has been having some "issues", as a result of the 8 years of Austerity measures. Perhaps they were just embarrassed that Trump chose to draw attention to them via tweet?
Edit: I see nothing great or magical about the idea of "Universal Health Care", it's a noble idea, but impractical for Nations with large populations. I seem to remember reading articles about both the British and Canadian versions of Health Care, they detailed stories of long waits for procedures, people dying before their surgery was approved, etc.
I think that our "blended" system does well enough. If you have employer sponsored care, great you're set! If you're broke, the people will pay your bills anyway, because government Medicaid.
