Well ,the Browns once gave J Football a whopping 8 and a half million bucks and he didn't exactly light the world on fire.. Point being that the dollar amount in contracts don't really tell us how good or bad a player might or might not be . Usually the only thing it tells us is the kid makes more money than they're actually worth.. 
The league is littered with guys whose 2nd contracts were mistakes .
