She was the acting "pool reporter" at the European Commission event, meaning she was representing all of the TV networks and was asking questions agreed upon by her (CNN), Fox, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc.

She did exactly what every reporter does, she shouted out questions and hoped that he would answer.
