Er, you mean the Mexican gov. is doing exactly what Obama wanted, don't you? He is the one who pushed them to start intercepting migrants back in 2014. Hence the existing programs for asylum seekers and the like.

Trump wins at home though, if his base does not know the history of Central American migration to the U.S.
