That's not the same as saying Buzzfeed is "fake news."

I mean, half of what Trump says is not accurate, that doesn't mean it's all false.

Will be interesting to watch what was right and where they missed when this all unfolds.

Yes but Trump supporters, and those who feel they have to defend him, are not looking for nuance or reality by their very nature. If they can find even one small kernel of a mistake they will turn that into the entire thing is wrong/a lie.

It's a common tactic, not singularly used by them by any stretch.

What we, the general public, are receiving is at best accurate information filtered through a second or third party. There will be certain inaccuracies and when those are discovered they will need addressed.

We don't know WHAT was inaccurate but clearly something was. Buzzfeed still stands by their story so (hopefully) it will all come out in the wash.

This wasn't a news report that Trump has Elvis' brain in a jar at Mar a Lago...it was a sourced (anonymously) article with reporters putting their names on it and on the line.

And even if it is 90-99% true Trump's base (even those who deny they are in it) will point to the false parts to distract from the truth.
