Mr. Acosta gets a shot at asking the leader of the free world a question. An opportunity like that is a responsibility for any real reporter. A chance to give voice to the millions and millions of Americans who will never get a shot at asking a president a question. An opportunity to shed light on some hidden injustice. An opportunity to inform and improve our body politic.

Looks like Acosta was doing his job.

Why is the US press an "embarrassment" when it holds US leaders accountable?

I might have phrased Acosta's question differently--should the US hold a world leader accountable for murdering a member of the press (regardless of whether he was full or part time) if it means losing an arms deal?

Er, wait. Trump already answered that question. Not all that "horrible," I guess.
