I remember when he had balls enough to brush away a female staffer whose job it was to take the mike from him while he was demonstrating him balls by not follow procedure or directives from POTUS in his house. 

Acosta is a self-serving POS and this is the reason the story in the OP is making news. Acosta had balls enough to ask a question that he hoped would help the sales of his book.

Of course none of this excuses Trump's inaction on the matter, but let's not paint Acosta as some 1st Amendment freedom fighter
