Acosta is a self-serving POS and this is the reason the story in the OP is making news. Acosta had balls enough to ask a question that he hoped would help the sales of his book.

Of course none of this excuses Trump's inaction on the matter, but let's not paint Acosta as some 1st Amendment freedom fighter

Is it a self-serving POTUS ignoring an ethical issue on the world stage while building his brand, or
a journalist asking important questions, book sales or no?

PS regarding the female staffer incident, the POTUS is not a private citizen and the WH is our house.
