Whistle-Blower’s Complaint Is Said to Involve Multiple Acts by Trump
(09-30-2019, 02:34 PM)bfine32 Wrote: I agree Trump has jumped the shark here and as I have stated IMO his reactions to the report are much more disturbing than the actually report. When he talks of treason, Civil War, and what we "used to do" with Spies, he is appealing to emotion rather than reason and should be held responsible should harm come to anyone.

But as to Schiff's "paraphrasing" of the phone call: I found that to be a little overboard as well.

Trump is like a spoiled brat who has gotten steadily more out of control.  We let him say that certain groups of people are "the enemy" and that people need to be roughed up and stuff like that and he's just gradually moved on to asking if people can be or should be executed.  This stuff doesn't happen overnight.  By the end of his second term he's probably going to be talking about dropping a nuke on California and we're just gonna be like "That's our Trump!"
