Also, I don’t think of condoms as just something men buy, but both sexes purchase for birth control. Whereas, tampons are usually purchased and used by women. Although, I did have to talk my battalion commander (he was infantry) out of spending $5000 dollars on tampons because he was told every soldier in the 4th Infantry Division carried two tampons to treat gun shot wounds.
