Governor DeWine has just announced that all pubic schools in Ohio are going to be closed for 3 weeks. Do some of you still believe it's being overblown or are some of these folks in the know keeping us in the dark?
Any answer I give to this would be socially-related and therefore have a political slant. The closest thing this reminds me of is pro sports taking a hiatus after the 9/11 attacks. In theory said attack killed less people than car accents/swimming pools/chainsaw juggling etc but that didn't mean people weren't going to talk about it or alter their lives based upon it.
When in doubt, follow the money. If important people are willing to lose money because of something then you may have something with some gravity going on.
Part of me thinks "Meh, it ain't gonna kill me" but I've also accumulated friends with immuno-compromised kids and some frail in-laws since my more reclusive days who could be at risk if I decide to "tough it out" and face the virus. Such is life.
