Not only does Trump tout chloroquine as a coronavirus treatment but he also calls it a game changer in the fight against the coronavirus and implies the FDA has approved it for use against the coronavirus and the federal government had made a significant purchase of the drug to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Sure it has a foolish thing to do, but they got their misinformation from a source they trusted, our president, and it cost one of them their life needlessly.
They took a fish tank (or pond) cleaner.
