I just called out the use of racial epithets on a subreddit for Virginia gun news. It was being used ironically, but that doesn't matter. It is directed at Northam and the clan robe controversy, but using it so freely in the forum does nothing but feed the idea that the pro-2A crowd are racist extremists. If no one blinks an eye at it, if it is accepted, then that is how it will be seen.
If you bring swastikas to a rally and are using them to say the people you are protesting share Nazi qualities, then they better have the "anti" symbol on top of them, otherwise you're going to send the wrong message.
